The April 2016 aircraft of the month was a Hawker Siddeley 748 Series 2A registered C-FMAK . The longest serving HS748 in Canada was delivered new to Midwest Airlines of Winnipeg in 1969 and survived a crash caused by double engine failure on take-off.
